Darbster Doggy is our dog ranch in Chichester, about 10 minutes east of Concord. The property includes a hiking trail, several fenced outdoor yards, and an indoor play area. There are only dogs at this location. Plenty of parking and ADA accessible.

Come by for an hour (or more) to explore and enjoy our onsite hiking trails with a rescue dog who is new to NH.

Puppy Playtime

We have puppies that need socialization, and we need help from you to do it!

please expect to be with the dogs for at least 30 minutes

Day Trip

Like checking a book out of the library, but it’s a dog! Bring a Darbster rescue dog on a mini-adventure.

General Help

Darbster always needs help around the shelter! Possible tasks include: dishes, laundry, organizing, sweeping, treat prep etc.

Darbster Kitty is located on Manchester’s West Side. There are multiple indoor play areas and this location only has cats. Parking is sometimes limited.

Cat Care / Kennel Assistant

Help Darbster give the best possible care to these rescue cats! Tasks will include general cleaning around the facility, feeding, litter box maintenance, and loving cats!

Kitty Cuddles

Socializing and comforting shelter cats is essential to our mission, as every opportunity for a positive interaction with a stranger helps our rescues feel safe.

Partner Stores

Want to help take care of our Darbster Kitties at Partner Stores like Petco and Petsmart? This is a fun and relaxing task where you help clean litter boxes, change bedding, snuggle cats, and network with other cat lovers.

**We have partner store relationships in Concord, Hooksett, Nashua, and Newmarket**

Darbster’s store within the Mall of NH has both dogs and cats, as well as hundreds of products for sale. There is one play area available indoors, and another available outdoors. Darbster dogs are allowed to go on leashed walks inside the mall. Parking is substantial and ADA accessible.

Fur-tography

Amateur and experienced photographers alike are needed to help capture the personalities of our rescue animals.

Adoption Assistant

Help with a variety of public-facing tasks such as greeting visitors, answering FAQs, and assisting with adoptions.

Join us for special events! These are displayed on an as-needed basis. Typically, a special event might be: an off-site adoption event (with animals), a fundraiser, an expo, etc. The more help we can get, the better!
