DARBSTER DOGGY

Volunteer & Foster

Darbster Rescue sincerely appreciates the dedication and loyalty of our community volunteers. Without you, we could not provide the same level of care and compassion that the animals we shelter so greatly deserve. To help us in our mission to ensure that each animal we rescue receives the best possible environment while they await their forever homes, we seek volunteers in the following areas:

  • Dog care
  • Foster care

Foster Care

Why is fostering important? We are not kidding with you when we say fostering saves lives. When you foster a dog for Darbster Doggy in New Hampshire, you are giving us more room in our facility in Chichester to house dogs. That means we can rescue more dogs in overcrowded shelters in Florida. You are also giving a dog the opportunity to be in a loving home until they get adopted.

We provide you with all necessary items like food, a collar and leash, medication (if needed), and even a bed!

When is fostering necessary? We mainly need fosters for our dogs that take longer to get adopted. These are our seniors pups and ones that may take a little longer to warm up to people. These are perfectly fine dogs, just not the ones people typically go for at first.

We always have dogs in need of foster, so please click on the link below to fill out our foster application, and email to frontdesk@darbster.net

FOSTER APPLICATION

Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to get out of your house, but also a great excuse to help out those in need in your community, which can also refer to animals! If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the application below and send to devon@darbster.com
