DARBSTER DOGGY

Training

Darbster Rescue is exited to begin offering dog training to our dog adopters. Thommy Harley will be working with us, providing both group and individual options.

Group Classes on better understanding dog behavior will be available for Darbster Adopters on:

  • Sunday, October 10 from 1pm to 1:45pm – 6 spots available – cost $15
  • Monday, October 11 from 1pm to 1:45pm – 6 spots available – cost $15

Individual Classes
Are there certain areas you want to work in with your pup (leash walking, reactivity etc)? Thommy will work with you and you dog and send you home with a plan and a follow up class three weeks later.  If you put in the time you will see results – we promise.

$75 for both sessions.  Please call to schedule the first class for 10/10 through 10/12.

For more information or to register for classes, please contact frontdesk@darbster.net or 603-635-4495. Payment taken in advance.

Thommy Harley

Thommy Harley is the owner of Canine Compassion Healing and Training, and the Founder of From Kennels to Homes, which specifically helps rescue/shelter dogs with behavior issues become more confident, secure and happy pets.

With over 15 years of working with dogs, Thommy focuses on understanding the root causes of the behavior (through behavioral science), and helps the dog overcome the issue by forming a safe, cooperative relationship with the dog.

The methods are completely force-free and positive. There is never a need to use punishment methods, such as e-collars, prong collars, or choke collars which may ‘cure” the behavior for the moment but do not help the dog learn new behaviors and often exasperate fear, discomfort and insecurity.

This invaluable training gives dogs with behavior issues a true chance at life in a forever home.

FROM KENNELS TO HOMES

“The goal is simple: help the dog feel better.”
